Tidbits Collection 2 is the forty-fifth episode (twentieth in the second season) of Osomatsu-san.
Characters[]
Plot[]
Introduction[]
The show starts off with Iyami being the host for the episode, where the guest star is Dayon.
Throughout the episode Dayon reacts to almost every skit being shown.
Matsu Buns[]
Late into the night, at Hybrid Oden, Chibita introduces his new food, Matsu Buns. After initially finding out no one is interested in them, he decides to display what's hidden inside. However, after opening them up it's revealed that one is filled with beer, one with poison, one with the universe and that the last three are empty. In a rage, Chibita flips his oden stand and screams that no one will want them.
Tax Return[]
Choromatsu attempts to calculate his taxes for the year, when Jyushimatsu interrupts to question what it's all about. Jyushimatsu admits he doesn't know what tax filing is, causing Choromatsu to call him helpless and go on a rant about how they should be reliable and file their taxes properly. Through his rant, Todomatsu slides open the door and encourages Jyushimatsu to silently sneak away.
Karapino[]
At a toy store there is a beautiful doll named Karapino, who is claimed to have a unique ability. This ability is soon discovered to be that whenever he gets too excited, his wiener will extend beyond the limit.
Wallet[]
Osomatsu finds his wallet has gone missing from the bookshelf and immediately starts suspecting his younger brothers for the responsibility of his missing stuff.
When no one comes forth as the thief, Osomatsu starts cussing them out, only for Karamatsu to discover that he had it inside his pocket the whole time. The others, however, feel guilty that Osomatsu lost his money and attempt to provide him with their own money and valuables. As Osomatsu begs for their forgiveness, Karamatsu discovers that he only has 500 yen, instead of his proclaimed 30,000.
Pollen[]
The news forecast announces that flower pollen will become 8,000 times worse than last year. In no time, the wind carries the flower pollution to spread across the city, which soon makes its way to the Matsuno House, where the sextuplets are desperately trying to stop the infestation in their home.
The barricades they placed up are swiftly torn down by the pollen as it floods into their room, and the irritation from the pollen causes them to have weeping eyes and running noses, in an attempt to soothe their itching reactions they even take off their own body parts to wash them.
Suddenly, Jyushimatsu sneezes immensely, which causes a giant snot bubble to form around his body. As he flails around in an attempt to escape, the others end up sneezing as well, causing them all to be within their own bubbles. They soon discover that floating around is far more peaceful than dealing with the pollen.
Labyrinth[]
Totoko is trapped within a labrinth and attempts to escape, only for each turn to end in vain. Her hopes get up, when she believes she found Choromatsu and Hatabō, however they're soon revealed to be fake, causing her to freak out. As she screams out for help, Dekapan is watching from atop a tower, sitting on a throne and grinning at her suffering.
Jyushimatsu the Raccoon[]
A Raccoon, named Jyushimatsu, sits next to a riverbank with his ranger, Todomatsu, who provides him food to eat. Every time Jyushimatsu is handed his food, he rolls it between his hands under the water, until it disintegrates, which causes his ranger to become increasingly annoyed.
This continues until Jyushimatsu becomes hungry and reaches out to Todomatsu to receive food again, only for Todomatsu to yell at him that there isn't any left. Retaliating, the raccoon pushes Todomatsu into the water and proceeds to crush him as well.
Todomatsu Passes On[]
Todomatsu constantly observes his brother's odd behaviours and becomes increasingly annoyed by them. He remarks on all of their actions, calling Karamatsu cringe, Ichimatsu depressing, and Choromatsu gross, whilst he also wonders why Osomatsu and Jyushimatsu are completely random. Eventually, he looses his nerves and decides to derp, transforming himself into an incoherent mess, as his brothers attempt to apologise.
Field Trip[]
It's a great day at the Akatsuka Bread factory, where kids from the Matsuno Kindergarten are visiting to learn how to make bread. Their tourist, Ichimatsu, walks them through the factory as they discover how bread is made. At the end of the tour, he provides them with a questionnaire on what they learnt during their time there. After they answer the questions correctly the door to the exit is drawn closed and the kids are held captive and at gun-point for knowing too much.
Proper-Rangers! Move out![]
One beautiful day at Matsuno house, the sextuplets are lazing about, not doing much as usual. Elsewhere in Akatsuka, Iyami unleashes destruction upon the city by using a giant mech to crush everything. An alarm goes off at the Matsuno house to alert the sextuplets of the disaster going on, so they decide to move out against the threat. Their house begins to transform, opening up secret passages and hidden displays, however the mechanics end up malfunctioning and the rangers end up stuck in an endless loop. Meanwhile, Iyami has successfully destroyed everything and leaves in victory.
Skeleton[]
Osomatsu enters a Skeleton competition and begins his turn in the race. Sliding down the icy slope, he ends up losing his helmet and board due to the pressure and he continues travelling down without them. As a result, this causes his outfit to tear away as well, leaving his body burning as he continues sliding along the ice.
However, as he gradually gets closer to the finish line, Karapino, from the third segment, suddenly shows up out of nowhere and ends up crossing the finish line before him, ultimately becoming the winner of the race and leaving Osomatsu to suffer in loss and pain.
Ending[]
After the skit collection finishes, Iyami asks Dayon what his thoughts were on the episode. Dayon simply answers that it was so-so, leaving everyone shouting "Sheeeh" in surprise, as the episode ends.
